Discover Sirikatha Industries’ proud 48-year journey, from humble beginnings to a renowned food manufacturing company, crafting culinary excellence.
Mr. Asanka started his own business called Sirikatha Papadam in 2001 at his home in Elhena area with an initial investment of 3000 rupees. There, Mr. Asanka used his father’s experience of working in a famous noodles company.
Sirikatha Papadam was started with the help of two manual workers without any technical facilities. Our company is currently producing Sirikatha papadam noodles, Turmeric Paste, vinegar, undu flour, and undu seeds to the customer and is run under the name of Sirikatha Industries Private Limited. Currently, by using different products and new technology, the production quantity has been increased and the distribution network has also been expanded. As a young and strong entrepreneur, Mr. Asanka has presented many innovative product categories to the customer by understanding the future market trends.
By now Sirikatha brand has become a famous brand by providing a large amount of jobs and providing a great service to the country. The secret of staying ahead of the competition is the commitment of the management and all employees to provide a high quality product to the correct standards at a reasonable price.
Consumer safety is secured by obtaining GMP quality certification by continuously ensuring the quality of manufacturing practices.

Sirikatha Industries excels in multiple business areas, proudly delivering our exquisite products to the vibrant regions of Colombo, Gampaha, Kaluthara, Rathnapura, Galle, Mathara, and Hambantota districts in Sri Lanka. Our extensive distribution department boasts a fleet of over 25 delivery vehicles, ensuring swift and efficient service to our valued customers.
Looking ahead, we are driven by a visionary plan to expand our product reach to numerous other districts within Sri Lanka, forging stronger bonds with communities across the island. Moreover, we are excited to embark on a new venture next year, aiming to venture into international markets by exporting our exceptional products to India. This strategic step marks a significant milestone in our journey, promising to establish Sirikatha Industries as a global ambassador of authentic Sri Lankan flavors and culinary expertise. I am the managing director of Sirikatha industries private Limited company as well as owner of a reputed company which has been running as a registered company since 2001 and has grown to three factories today. I have based my experience here on my father’s 40 years of working in a well-known noodle company in Sri Lanka. I always consider surpassing the competition in the market and enhancing the customer satisfaction through the quality of our products. It is a unique achievement for me that we have been able to retain the customer community that we have acquired by continuously increasing the quality day by day without relying on the competition itself. In the journey so far, I have been dedicated to the welfare of the employees who have joined hands with me to satisfy various customer needs and wants by producing about thirty Sirikatha products and to provide customers with high-quality food products at a reasonable price. In future, we have also implemented social and religious activities to give our contribution to society and improve the quality of life of human.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the family members who have pledged their support for our success and to all those who have helped us in this journey.
